We will see if it can beat the titan Halo Reach with the 2.5 million copies pre-ordered back in 2010, which is currently the world record for most pre-orders. Interesting stats indeed.
Edit** - apparently, the statistics above are ONLY for the XBox 360 platform, omitting the PS3/PC pre-orders of BF3/MW3.

ZemZero, I think the stats are for XBox 360 platform, not including PS3/PC sales.
no surprise for me, I like the look and feel of gears of war and plus it actually has a plot ^_^
Hell yeah, Gears 3 will be awesome!
